Programs
Rooted in community. Built for the artists who make it.
Share the Spotlight runs programs that give local artists the resources, exposure, and support they need to thrive — so the culture that makes our community worth living in never disappears.
Putting Local Artists in the Spotlight
Our flagship showcase series gives emerging and independent artists a real stage, a real audience, and real momentum. We partner with local venues to produce quarterly events that are free or low-cost to attend — because access matters.

Music Education for the Next Generation
We believe every kid deserves access to music. Our after-school and summer programs provide free lessons, instrument lending, and mentorship from working musicians in the community — planting seeds that last a lifetime.

Keeping Local Venues Alive
Independent venues are the backbone of local culture — and they’re disappearing. We work directly with venues and artists to help cover production costs, provide booking support, and advocate for policies that protect live music spaces in our city.

Grants for Artists Who Need Them Most
Our micro-grant program awards funding to individual artists and small collectives working in music, performance, and cultural preservation. Applications open twice a year — no lengthy process, no gatekeepers.
